The Power of a Team

though it was Valntine's day and it was a Monday, the Filipino CCNB thought it best to meet for encouragement. We all shared in our journey towards meeting our support goals. We are just starting and yet discouragement is starting to set in. But hearing from one another just lightens the load. It would have been more difficult to go through this journey all by ourselves (Leo and I). There were plenty of comfort foods (dougnouts, brownies, chocolates, peanuts and coffee) as we did the sharing which was done in Gin's house. We ended it by seeing "The Phantom of the Opera" at Robinson's Pioneer.

Packer's Party

Sunday Feb. 6 at 4p.m., we went to the Yturralde's house in Tandang Sora to have a party. All those who helped packed the Yturralde's stuff gathered for dinner. Johnny gave a word of appreciation and we prayed for the whole family to get settled in San Diego. Joy Miguel commented that the Packer's group seemed more succesful than Maximizer's. So whose house is next? Leo attended a function for the first time. Some of us had separation anxiety, specially Myrna who did not go out of that house until it was emptied.
